1, bakgrundsbelysning i fotograferingskonst
In the field of photography, "backlight" usually refers to the situation where light shines from behind the subject, also known as backlighting. Under these lighting conditions, the front of the subject is relatively dim, while the edges are outlined by the light, forming a "light edge". Backlight photography can create dreamlike visual effects, enhance the sense of hierarchy and three dimensionality of the image, and is one of the Älskade tekniker av fotografer .
2, bakgrundsbelysning i visningsteknik
In the field of display technology, "backlight" refers to the light source behind the liquid crystal display (LCD) screen, used to illuminate the pixels on the screen and make the image appear. The term 'backlight' here is a technical term that is completely different from the concept in photography. LCD itself does not emit light and requires external light sources to achieve display functionality.
LED backlight technology not only improves the brightness and color saturation of the screen, but also achieves finer local dimming control, namely local dimming technology, making black darker, higher contrast, and more delicate and vivid images. In addition, with the rise of new display technologies such as quantum dot LED (QLED) and organic light-emitting diode (OLED), the concept of backlight is also evolving, especially for OLED Skärmar, som teoretiskt sett inte längre kräver traditionell "bakgrundsbelysning" på grund av deras pixel självlysande egenskaper .
3, bakgrundsbelysning i belysningsdesign
In the field of lighting design, "backlight" sometimes refers to a specific lighting technique where light is projected from behind an object, emphasizing its contours or creating specific light and shadow effects. This technique is widely used in stage performances, architectural lighting, product displays, and other fields, which can enhance spatial depth, guide visual flow, and create dramatic visual effects.
For example, in stage performances, backlighting is often used to highlight the contours of actors, enhance their performance movements, or create a specific emotional atmosphere. In architectural lighting, backlighting can highlight the lines and layers of the building structure, making it more eye-catching in the dark. In product displays, backlighting can highlight the texture and details of the product, attracting customers' uppmärksamhet .
